Let's hit the road!

Hitting the road with your fur friend can be fun, but safety comes first! With a little preparation, you can ensure that your pet stays safe, comfortable and happy in the car. Remember, never leave your pet locked in the car - even for just a few minutes. Even with the window cracked, temperatures can rise dangerously fast, leading to heatstroke or worse.

  • Start car trips with them early with small, frequent roadies to reduce stress and (hopefully) avoid car sickness.

  • Be prepared - pack water, treats and their favourite toy and blanket for entertainment and comfort.

  • Never leave pets locked in the car - even for a short time with the windows cracked.

  • Use a pet seatbelt, harness or carrier to keep your best friend safe and secure.

  • Make regular stops for bathroom breaks, a drink of water and some time to stretch those legs.

  • If your fur friend suffers from car sickness or is anxious in the car, talk to us about products to help.
